UNAM will register the first intake of students for its MSc in Water Resources Management programme on 21 July 2017 with classes commencing on 24 July 2017. THE MSC IN WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME CONSISTS OF: • advanced taught courses all at Level 9 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF); • one (1) semester of research and mini thesis; • a minimum duration of the programme is two (2) years of full time study or three (3) years of part time study; • the mode of teaching will be full-time study or part-time block release at UNAM Main Campus, Windhoek or José Eduardo dos Santos Campus, Ongwediva. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS The minimum entry requirement for this programme is: • An Honours Degree at NQF Level 8 (Lower Second), or a good Postgraduate Diploma at NQF Level 8 in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geo-Information Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Management, Hydrology or Hydrogeology, with an overall grade of at least 60%. The parties were married to each other on 26 September 2002 at Windhoek, Republic of Namibia, in community of property and which marriage still subsists. 5. One minor child was born between the parties to wit, Menete Pineas a girl born 1 July 2005. The minor child currently resides with the plaintiff. 6. It would be in the best interest of the minor child if the plaintiff is awarded custody and control, subject to the defendant's right of reasonable access. AD MAIN CLAIM: 7. During or about 2015 and at Otjiwarongo, the defendant committed adultery with an unknown woman. The plaintiff has since married this woman. The Plaintiff does not condone this adulterous relationship. AD ALTERNATIVE CLAIM: 8. During the subsistence of the marital relationship between the parties, the defendant with the determined intention to end the marital relationship between the parties wrongfully and maliciously conducted himself as follows: 7.1. abuses alcohol excessively and when he is drunk h_e becomes verbally and physically abusive; 7.2. due to defendant's abuse of alcohol, he neglects the minor child and the common homestead and has sold the household goods and livestock that the plaintiff bought; 7.3. he shows no love or affection towards the plaintiff; 74. defendant has committed adultery with two women whom he brought into the common home known to the plaintiff only by whereabouts; 7.5. He has left the common home in February 2015 without explanation and the parties have not lived as husband and wife since then; 7.6. He shows no serious intention to continue with the marital relationship. 9. The plaintiff . confronted the defendant about his adultery, but he gets physically and verbally abusive towards plaintiff. 10. In the premises the defendant has wrongfully and/or maliciously, alternatively constructively, deserted the plaintiff in which desertion he persists. 11. The plaintiff in 2002 and before she married the defendant purchased the property situated at Erf 10106, Single Quarter, Katutura, Windhoek, Republic of Namibia, and same is registered in her name. 12. Save for a few movable items such as furniture and personal clothing, the parties do not own any other properties. 13. The Value of the aforesaid immovable property is approximately N0 000.00 and the value of the joint estate at the date of instituting summons for divorce is approximately N0 000.00. 14. The plaintiff single handedly, and without any contribution from the defendant, paid and continues to pay for the mortgage bond, as well as the monthly rates, taxes, water and electricity to the municipality of Windhoek. 15. The defendant has made no contribution to the joint estate and has in fact alienated some properties including livestock purchased by the plaintiff.
