Responsibilities not limited to: • Adhere to the traffic rules and regulations. • Drive NCS officials’ staff and visitors • Deliver product to and pick-up product from Correctional Facilities/ Work place, • Run mail and develop and maintain an effective routing system, • Ensure that the truck long-book is proper completed. • Maintain high standard of service to both internal and external guests Directorate: Security Division: Intelligence and Physical Security Sub-Division: Integrated Security System Post Designation: Senior Chief Correctional Officer (Grade 8) Salary Scale: N$ 220 828 - 263 911 Post(s): 2 x National Headquarters Minimum Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Communication Technology on NQA L7 with two (2) years’ experience in the maintenance, repair and operation of electoral and security systems or a Diploma in Information Communication Technology on NQA L6 with four (4) years’ experience in the maintenance, repair and operation of electoral and security systems. Knowledge of Access control and CCTV systems and mechanical and electrical locks operations. Key responsibilities not limited to: • Installation, upgrading, service, maintenance of video surveillance equipment and related equipment based on the required specifications. • Install, maintain and repair security systems including alarm devices, access control, CCTV cameras and related equipment based on blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans. • Installs, repairs and makes modifications on a variety of access control boards, scramble pads, card-swipe stations, panic alarm devices, door alarms, electric and mechanic locks and other supportive devices.
