Friday, September 29 2017| NEW ERA ADVERT 41 New Course on Offer 2018 MASTER OF MEDICINE IN Anaesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Management The School of Medicine invites prospective candidates for the four (4) year Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Management programme (NFQ Level 9). The minimum entry requirements for admission into the Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Management are as follows: i. Prospective students must be in possession of a Level 8, University of Namibia, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from any other accredited institution of higher learning, with: months in a recognised supervised internship programme. ii. A prospective student must be registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) as a Medical Practitioner. iii. Prospective students, whose medical education was not written English, e.g. TOEFL (75) or IELTS academic version old, at the time of application. Please take note: All prospective students will be interviewed by the Postgraduate Admissions Committee of the School of Medicine. (Proof of practice in Anaesthetic Unit/Department Meeting the above admission criteria does not necessarily ensure admission. Admission is awarded on merit, based on places available on the programme. The Faculty reserves the right to administer special written entry tests and interviews before admission.
