Unam FC collected three points from a possible six in the league’s last round of matches against Chief NPL season. Speaking to Nampa after his team’s 2-1 defeat against Oshakati- Unam FC coach Ronny Kanalelo leg with maximum six points or at least four points from the two games we played, but we failed to do that since we only got three points. The players are now going to lose out on their bonus as it was either four points or six for them to get it, but it’s a learning curve for them too,” he said. He added that when the transfer window opens, he is going into the market to reinforce his defence. “We are going into the market focusing especially on the defence line, because we need reinforcement. I am forced to play Edmund Kambanda in the defence through lack of choice, but when the window opens, I will get a defender so [Kambanda] can play in the right position for the team,” Kanalelo said. He stated that with a number of his key players being injured throughout the season, he would like to add more players to his in case the situation repeats itself in the second leg. “I had a disciplinary issue yesterday (Saturday) with a player who went to play bush football and in the morning before our game he shows we have to start looking for new players, because we can’t keep players who prefer bush football to organised football,” said Kanalelo. – Nampa to amend...
